I’m Ashley Wei — a ballet dancer, researcher, and advocate for women’s well-being.

Dance taught me how discipline can coexist with beauty — and how the body carries both strength and vulnerability. Through ballet, I witnessed how many young girls struggle with nutrition, body image, and the invisible pressures of perfection. Those experiences led me to study nutrition and sociology, exploring how food and history shape women’s safety, confidence, and sense of self.

My work bridges movement and meaning. I research how social systems define women’s roles and security, while supporting initiatives that empower girls to build healthy relationships with their bodies and their voices. Whether through dance, education, or advocacy, I hope to nurture a world where every girl grows with strength, safety, and grace.
